During his panel at the event Anime Expo Lite, the platform Crunchyroll announced that it will air the fourth OVA of the anime adaptation of the manga Taiki Kawakami, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken. This OVA will be included in the fifteenth compilation volume of the manga, which will be released in Japan on July 9.

The series has previously inspired three OVAs that were included in volumes # 12, # 13 and # 14 released in July 2019, December 2019 and March 2020, respectively.The platform also published such episodes.

For his part, Fuse originally published the novels on the website. Shousetsuka ni Narou between 2013 and 2016, and the series garnered more than 400 million views. The editorial Micro Magazine The publication of the work on paper began in 2014, and it published the sixteenth volume on March 27. The novels are inspiring a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami, and this in turn is what has inspired the anime adaptation, whose first season premiered in October 2018.

Satoru Mikami is an ordinary 37-year-old man who lives in Tokyo. He is relatively happy with his monotonous life, despite the fact that he has no girlfriend. During an encounter with one of his colleagues, an assailant stabs him and he dies. But during his agony before his death, a mysterious voice recites a series of commands that, at first, make no sense at all.

When he wakes up again, he discovers that he has reincarnated into a slime in another world. Little did he know that his monotonous life has now taken a complete turn since, with his new form and life, he will discover new skills and make new friends.
