Via its official media the platform Crunchyroll announced that it will add the first 42 episodes of the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by, to its catalog Gosho Aoyama, Detective Conan.

The addition will be made today at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, so the reader will need to convert this time zone to the one that is appropriate for them. For his part, Aoyama publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan since January 1994 a total of 98 compilation volumes have been published.

In addition to a variety of films and OVAs, the piece inspired an anime adaptation produced by the studios. TMS Entertainmentwhich has aired since January 1996 and has more than 980 episodes.

Detective Conan Synopsis

The manga series revolves around Conan Edogawa, the pseudonym of Detective Shinichi Kudo, whose body has shrunk after being poisoned at the beginning of the story. Together with detective Kogoro Mori and his daughter Ran, Conan helps the police solve difficult puzzles.

The Detective Conan Manga has been published since 1994 and was the first weekly Shonen Sunday series to release its 1000th chapter in August. The manga has inspired an ongoing anime series and an annual anime film series. The 22nd film in the franchise, Meitantei Conan Zero no Shikkōnin (Detective Conan: Zero's Executioner), opened in Japan on April 13 and became the highest-grossing film in franchise history. Aoyama's various manga series have a total of 200 million printed copies worldwide.
