Over the past few months, Raf Grassetti, the art director of Santa Monica Studio's newest major production, God of War, has released some spectacular illustrations dedicated to characters from the anime series, particularly those related to the Dragon Ball series such as Freeza and a hyper-realistic Mr. Satan and recently honored Chrono Trigger.

Chrono trigger, Published in 1995 in the Super Nintendo Entrertainmente System, is now considered one of the greatest representatives of the JRPG genre. What connects him deeply with the world of manga and anime is the fact that the author of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama played an important role during the developmentTo introduce and design many of the characters that appeared in the final product.

In order to pay homage to the work of the former place and also of the master Toriyama, Grassetti shares social updates a modern and 3D redesign of the main characters. "He's starting to create a whole, but there is still a lot to be done." So the art director commented on the posts that you can find at the bottom of the news where you can see Frog, Robo and of course Crono, to which Ayla, Marle and Lucca will likely be added.

Recall that Japanese fans enacted the ten most exciting anime of the decade, and we'll leave the meaning of the term fountain pen, which is particularly hated by fans.
