During the manga of chainsaw man recently returned to MangaPlus with the second part, in which Denji will struggle with his high school life and career as a devil hunter. A new trailer of the anime was released by MAPPA during Crunchyroll Expo 2022, featuring the character designs of the four protagonists as well.

The work designed by Tatsuki Fujimoto is proving to be one of the happiest in recent years, having already conquered many readers and enthusiasts around the world, and is currently one of the most read on the MangaPlus platform one million recorded readings, over 100,000 compared to Eiichiro Oda's ONE PIECE. In addition, the new trailer has been acclaimed by fans both for the presentation of the main characters and for the depiction of particularly frenetic and gory sequences.

After showing Denji, Power, Makima and Aki Hayakawa in action, the MAPPA staff decided to show them Character designs signed by Kazutaka Sugiyama.
