Kawaki’s decision in Boruto 77 turned events on their head. The Seventh Hokage and his wife Hinata Hyuga were kidnapped from the Leaf Village due to carelessness and morbid love that Kawaki has experienced. But how will the Konoha ninjas react to this event?

A few hours after its official release on MangaPlus, which is scheduled for February 20th, 2023, the Boruto Chapter 78 sports spoilers leaked on the web. The cover of the chapter titled “A Great Madness” will feature Naruto with an unusual color palette.

The chapter opens with the Blattdorf panicked because Naruto and Hinata’s chakra has disappeared. Shikamaru will ask Eida what is happening and the girl will use the power of her eye to suggest that Kawaki is to blame. Boruto will therefore run to his brother in front of everyone. Eida will also report that Kawaki intends to kill Boruto as the boy revealed to the Hokage. At this news, Sarada decides to follow her friend.

Come face to face Kawaki will attack Boruto without hesitation and without comfortable. The boy will limit himself to saying that Naruto and Hinata have been banished to a dimension where they cannot age and cannot die, but Boruto will never see his parents again. The Hokage’s son will finally decide to respond to the attacks of what he believed to be his brother.

The battle is temporarily interrupted by the arrival of Sarada, who will fall victim to Kawaki’s wrath. To save her friend, Boruto will heal the scar on his eye that marks the Flash Forward’s character design. Kawaki will prepare the next attack, but they also rush to the crime scene Shikamaru and Mitsukiwho will block it with their techniques. The last to enter the scene is Sasuke Uchiha.

Kawaki’s rebellion seems resolved, however Momoshiki will take possession of Boruto and with karma he is able to escape. Why Ootsutsuki sided with those who wanted him dead is still a mystery. For Boruto, it’s the beginning of the end.
