There was a time when Boruto Uzumaki could live carefree in Leaf Village. Konoha is his home as he is the son of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, although he still causes trouble. And so the story of Boruto: Naruto Next Generation It started out with no particular pretensions, just to surprise during release.
It seems that a long time has passed since there was the new clash with the Otsutsuki in which Boruto was irreparably involved. From then on, especially since Masashi Kishimoto took over the manga's reins, the story of the young blonde ninja is full of pitfalls, but never as many as this one appeared in the last few chapters due to Eida. In fact, a huge upheaval happened in the last month: Kawaki and Boruto switched places.
Now Boruto is a fugitive with nowhere to stay and permanently banished from his homeland. Very few know of his true role in this matter and little can be done to help him. That means only one Boruto has become an enemy of the whole world and therefore he must face them all, at the risk of being killed. At the same time, however, he will play a very important role in the ninja world, which is to save everyone from the dangers of the Otsutsuki, who are primarily represented by Code.
Essentially, that's what it means Boruto has become what Sasuke wanted to become: a ninja who would become a threat to every village, forcing the world to unite against him, a path that was however cut short by the challenge in the epilogue's valley with Naruto. Obviously, Boruto isn't even close to the level of his sensei and for that he needs to improve a lot, using what little he has left that can give him a lot of power.
How will the story of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations continue? from the next chapter?
