The anime of Boruto: Naruto the next generations has been running continuously for several years and currently the television series has over 250 episodes. The times also seem ripe for the arrival of a new original film, which could be announced during a special event.
With 253 episodes of Boruto behind him, Pierrot study handles the narrative of the Naruto sequel to give the comic of the same name time to progress the story. This choice, however, affected the plot's expansion, which proceeds slowly, sporadically, and with an inordinate amount of fullness episodes.
Even if the series does not shine on a narrative and technical level, the work remains one of the golden eggs of the Tokyo TV station, which continues to fund the project. 17th Julyadditionally Jump Victory Carnival 2022an important event for Shueisha at which the editor will announce Boruto anime news. But that's not all, because on the same day the publishing giant will use the event's showcase to unveil the first details about the Naruto's 20th Anniversary. All the clues therefore point to the possibility of a new film being announced, confirmations that we won't know for a month or so, however.
