During Team 7’s final mission, led by Master Konohamaru Sarutobi, the protagonists recreated a classic attack by the X-Men, the mutated formation of the Marvel Comics. Let’s go to discover this special Easter egg that has been secretly passed on Boruto episode 227.
After Sarada qualifies for the Chunin rank, the master becomes Konohamaru from now on will no longer lead Team 7but not before a final mission with a nostalgic flair. Boruto, Mitsuki and Sarada rush to the rescue of the third Hokage’s nephew, who has been held captive by a criminal ninja from Grass Village, to launch a devastating combo attack.
When the fog falls, the three boys jump in save their masterto whom they entrust the final blow to Hyogo. Boruto and Sarada combine their wind skills to create a shock wave that Konohamaru can propel at breakneck speed, all the while charging a Rasengan at full speed with devastating effects.
The last combo of the new Team 7 is very similar to the Special Fastball, a popular one X-Men move that sees Colossus hurling Wolverine at enemies. This move first appeared in X-MEN # 100 in 1976, but was also revived in the series’ cartoons.
