there Black Clover’s story is mostly about Asta, an orphan without magical powers who dreams of becoming the magical emperor of the Kingdom of Clover. He spent his childhood with another orphan, Yuno, who instead was endowed with miraculous magical powers that make him a real talent that is admired by all.
Over time, Asta joined the Black Bull while Yuno at the golden dawn, with the two new Magical Knights who started their careers while keeping their rivalry intact. As the chapters progressed, the two found each other side by side on multiple battlefields in Black Clover, working hard to protect their kingdom and friends.
However, all this rivalry did not have to exist for it Yuno had to die immediately. In the original plans, the mangaka Yuki Tabata had planned to kill his rival within a few chapters towards Black Clover number 7. According to editor Fukuda, this chapter, practically at the beginning of the story, would have been the chosen one. However, as we all know, the plans have radically changed and, in fact, the wind wizard remains a fundamental figure in Black clover.
Yuno is at the center of some very important battles in the current story arc and he would have been difficult to do without in the manga given he’s so popular.
