Now that Dante and Vanica are defeated, the battle in the Kingdom of Swords comes to an end. However, before we can finalize the matter, Black clover takes us three minutes back and shows readers what happened in the fight between Yuno and Langris against Zenon Zogratis, who is hiding a dark power.
Since Langris manages to buy Yuno enough time to work his ultimate magic, we see Zenon come from Black Clover in Chapter 306. Punch in the chest by the spirit of Eunus. At this point, however, the final Zogratis falls into a flashback that leads him to relive the tragic past that sparked his inner conflict.
Apparently, Zeno was weak as a child. Even mocked by his two brothers for his bone magic, Zeno was only comforted by a mysterious figure, an enigmatic “older brother” who suggested his greater affinity for demonic power. However, when Zenon met and befriended a boy named Allen, he rejected these dark forces.
Along with his new friend, Zenon managed to rise through the ranks of the Kingdom of Swords Magical Defense Force, but was forced to do so over the course of a complex mission choose between Allen’s life and that of the whole empire. This traumatic event led him to accept the forces of the devil.
Black Clover 306’s flashback ends with Zenon’s signing an agreement with Beelzebub. It is currently not clear whether this is a new pact, as Asta made with love, or whether it is a memory of the first encounter with the devil. What is certain is that the fight between the Zogratis and the duo Golden Dawn is not over yet. We leave you to Black Clover Chapter 307 spoilers.
