The newest volume in the series Batman Beyond completed one of the most important storylines in Terry McGinnis history and laid the foundation for the next adventures of the future Dark Knight and the rest of the bat family.
As Bruce gets older Terry’s role becomes more relevant in Neo-Gothamand his exploits convinced Wonder Woman of his incredible abilities and thus promised him a place in the future reincarnation of the Justice League, where he will of course replace Wayne before.
Regarding Dick Grayson and his daughter ElainnaBoth deal with Nightwing’s legacy. After a few risky gestures, Dick Elainna followed Barbara Gordon’s teachings, Then he gave his daughter a costume that reflected the colors of Nightwing very well, blue and black.
Barbara Gordon has retired as Police Commissioner for the City of Gotham and devotes herself exclusively to one very important task, the training of the future Batwoman. Barbara remains one of the most loyal allies to this day and respectful of the bat family, to whom he donates all his skills and knowledge for future generations.
We then move on to the fate of Damian Wayne, Son of Bruce, who has undergone numerous changes over the course of the Batman Beyond franchise. Damian is first driven by a desire to kill McGinnis, and will then ask him for help in destroying the League of Assassins. The last time it was shown, Damian He shook hands with his father and promised to work together to make the world a better place
Eventually we find Matt McGinnis, Terry’s younger brother, who we will most likely wear one day a futuristic version of the legendary Robin costume, ready to battle with Batman and bring to life a new way of depicting the interaction between these two characters.
