Set in several timelines at the same time, Batman / Catwoman gave readers a glimpse into the future of some DC Comics characters, including Harley Quinn, the clown princess of crime.
In the future timeline where an elderly Selina killed Kyle the Joker, Harley Quinn shows up at the Wayne mansion to get around Face catwoman. Even though she broke up with the criminal clown, he is apparently still a very important figure to her.
When she shows up in one of Joker’s cars at Villa Wayne, wearing a costume similar to that of her early days as a criminal, she confronts Selina about the murder of her lover. But Harley she is not angry, but is rather upset that the Joker was killed before she had a chance. This twisted reasoning causes the two women to collide. But when Selina overwhelms Harley, Helena Wayne, the daughter of Catwoman and Batman, returns home wondering what happened.
But could Harley Quinn ever have killed the Joker? During the fight, Selina tells her opponent that she would never do thatbecause deep down in his heart he is a good person. But Batman’s criminal clown returns with a new comic series. Bruce Wayne, meanwhile, is in the middle of a cyclone over Batman.
