Jigokuraku – Hell’s Paradise Completed in early January 2021, the mangaka Yuji Kaku is ready to debut in the most famous manga magazine of all time. Three new series are coming out on Weekly Shonen Jump and one of them is Ayashimon, focuses on the yakuza and some mysterious creatures.
Ayashimon made her MangaPlus debut on Sunday November 14th, 2021 with the first chapter, translated into English and Spanish, and has already received a lot of acclaim on the web, with Weekly Shonen Jump aiming a lot at that. What was the first chapter of the new Yuji Kaku series talking about?
In the 90s the leader of one of the largest yakuza groups in Kanto dies, and thus throws the world of Ayashimon into chaos. The scenario changes and merges into the human world where a boy struggles with training in the gym. However, because of its strength, it destroys everything. Even with sumo or other jobs, he cannot have any luck and because of the exclusion from the school he was enrolled in, he no longer knows what to do.
Eighties manga enthusiast with quotes from Dragon Ball, Jojo, Kinnikuman and Saint Seiya, the boy named Kaido Maruo is looking for a challenge that can be stimulatinghow they see the Shonen protagonists. At that moment he meets a girl who is being chased by some men in uniform and decides to help her. The escape leads the two into an alley, where the girl introduces herself as Urara, leader of a group of yakuza, and asks Maruo to become one of her subordinates and to work for her.
However, Maruo does not want to become a yakuza, and tells his story as a child who was abused by his father who decides to train hard every day. Inspired by the protagonists of the manga, he develops incomparable physical strength and gets rid of his father without any problems. However, his desire to fight and find strong opponents for his story is not satisfied and so he continues to look for the challenge everywhere.
When Urara is attacked by the same men as before, who are actually monsters named Ayashimon, Maruo begins to enjoy the fight as he feels pain for the first time. He challenges the leader of this monster group in a one-on-one manner and beheads him in one fell swoop. Maruo therefore decides to accept Urara’s proposal, plunge into this world of Ayashimon as a human being to be shot down.
