attack on Titan proves to be one of the most-watched television series in the world. Thanks to Hajime Isayama’s brilliant storyline and animations by Studio MAPPA, the fourth season of the anime is setting record ratings. It’s no coincidence that Attack On Titan is also appreciated by those who don’t watch anime regularly.
Recently the American voice actress Trina Nishimura spoke about Mikasa Ackermann, a character she voices in Attack On Titan. The heroine of the series is an extremely strong character, capable of masterfully killing the fearsome giants despite being only human. Trina paused to talk about it Mikasa’s relationship with Eren in the final season of the anime.
“I found out from that drastic change of Eren in Attack On Titan 4 Part 1 thanks to a call from my colleague Bryce Papenbrook [doppiatore di Eren, ndr]”explains Nishimura”,He called me and said, “Oh my god, did you see what’s going to happen?” and obviously I knew nothing about it.”
After reading the story, the prospect of voicing Mikasa for Nishimura was raised very interesting: “At first I was jealous of how Bryce managed to say everything Eren said because it was a very funny part. But then I followed in Mikasa’s footsteps, and when I start speaking, it’s not me anymore. Answering Eren was shocking, as I believe applies to Mikasa in the series. If Bryce were to tell me these things it would be equally heartbreaking because the emotions he conveyed to Eren with his voice are the same as he feels.“
Finally, Trina explained how she received them negativity of Eren’s words: “As a voice actress, I bring a bit of what’s happening with Mikasa into my life. At one point it felt like Bryce was saying those things to me and not Eren to Mikasa..”
A work by empathize with the overall character, which brings together many voice actors. A character has returned in Attack On Titan 4×22 that hasn’t been seen in a long time, and who knows how his voice actor will feel when he returns.
