Attack of the Giants 4 returns in 2022: MAP welcomes the fans with a sketch by Pieck and Gabi

Episode 16 of The Attack of the Giants 4 debuted a few hours ago in Italy and like every week MAP thanked the fans for their support with two beautiful illustrations. The first is a color portrait of Pieck and Gabi by animator Kaori Kishi, while the second is a design by Eren Jaeger’s Attack Giant.

You can see both sketches below. Kaori Kishi has directed animation on four episodes this season, an honor that MAPPA entrusted to him after doing excellent work on The God of High School. His sketch shows two of the protagonists of the mid-season finaleor the warriors of Marley Pieck and Gabi, who hold hands shortly before the last ambush. The second image is a key image of the attacking giant created by Takayuki Sano series Sub-Character Design, former animation director in Dororo and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Attack on Titan 4×16 adapted the first part of volume 29 of the manga and especially chapters 115 and 116. The anime, however has decided to adapt the first half of Chapter 115 in the second part of the seasonSo if your intention is to get the manga back, you will have to read both of them again from the beginning. We remind you that the work is distributed in Italy by Planet Manga, which has currently published 32 of the 33 volumes available.
