The fourth and final season of The attack of the giants is finally back for a new episode recap as part of the anime winter 2022 schedule. That means fans can finally see what happens after the big mid-season cliffhanger.
The last time fans saw Levi in action was just before he came out hit hard by the explosion of a Thunder Lance by none other than Zeke Yeager. The latter had caused the explosion hoping to knock Levi out of the way and save himself thanks to the giants’ regenerative power.
The blast caused irreversible damage to Levi, dislodging several of his fingers and putting him in a semi-death state while Zeke managed to regenerate while hidden inside a giant. In this latest installment of the series, we find out Zeke may have been able to rebuild not only thanks to the giant’s power, but also through something else very strange..
For Levi, on the other hand, a long and painful road is expected in view of this His next big challenge is to somehow survive his current critical condition. Episode 76 of Attack on Titan: Final Season picks up right where the midseason finale left off, and unfortunately, fans are getting a sad update on Levi’s plight.
Hangi was able to find him just in time, but his body is in extremely critical condition. Eren’s militia would like to ascertain his condition of death and eventually finish him off, but Hange manages to buy enough time to swim away with his partner’s body. Now it’s just a question of whether or not Levi can heal after coming so close to death.
Levi’s next big challenge is not just to heal, but to get in shape fast enough to come back and help in this new conflict against Eren and Marley. He also desperately needs revenge on Zeke for everything he’s done. But what do you think?
