In September 2018, independent author Sai Sumimori began writing the novels of Am I actually the strongest?, Isekai, which was then acquired by Kodansha and adapted into a series of light novels with the drawings of Ai Takahashi. After deciding to adapt it into a manga series, the publisher also announced the arrival of an anime.
Currently consisting of five light novels and eight tankobonsthe story conceived by Sumimori, continues to achieve some success, especially at home, and with great surprise, on September 7, 2022, Kodansha officially announced the production of a anime that will be released in 2023.
