After graduating from Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland and Haikyu !! hoped Weekly Shonen Jump on Jujutsu Kaisen and Act-Age to achieve new overwhelming successes. When the former is done with an anime, the latter has suffered a mocking and cruel fate due to the bad deeds of his mangaka Tatsuya Matsuki.
The screenwriter who composes a duo with designer Shiro Usazaki, was arrested for harassment last week and this has led to action being taken against Act-Age as well. Shueisha had posted a note a few days ago announcing the action she would take and today, Monday August 10th, they finally arrived.
Adventure for Kei Yonagi in show business: Act-Age will be canceled immediately. The chapter published tomorrow in Weekly Shonen Jump Out will be the last. Shueisha shared on social media that she cannot postpone such an event and that this choice was mandatory after talking to the designer. The arrest of the screenwriter Tatsuya Matsuki makes it impossible to continue the manga.
Both Viz Media and MangaPlus have announced this Act-Age's latest chapter will not be published on their platforms. The manga is therefore cut off with no real end and awaits news when the last volume is released.
Note on the end of the serialization of the nude age.
Tatsuya Matsuki, author of the Act-Age series, was arrested on August 8th. The editors took this situation very seriously, confirmed the facts and had a chat with Shiro Usazaki, the show's artist. https://t.co/w0bY6qAlqG- Weekly shonen jump (@WSJ_manga) August 10, 2020
