The Japanese animation industry will soon be enriched with a new production. This was officially announced a few hours agoanimated adaptation of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, based on the manga written and illustrated by Koume Fujichika. Here are the first details about the project.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses anime will be released in Summer 2023 and is in Produced at GoHands Studios, the studio behind the intricate story of Tokyo Babylon 2021. Staff working on the series include Susumu Kudo as project lead and Katsumasa Yokomine as director. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion's Takayuki Uchida is responsible for character design and animation direction.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses has been published in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine since 2018 Story of Kaede Komura and the attention given to Ai Mie. Attracted by the girl's charm, Komura only wants to be noticed by those eyes hidden under glasses. Shortly after their meeting, however, Kaede notices that Ai no longer wears glasses and her eyes are narrowed.
