On the official site for the anime adaptation of manga written and illustrated by also known as Akaka, Kaguya-sama: Love is war (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen), the distribution information for the third season Blu-ray/DVD packages of the project entitled as Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romance. The list does not confirm how many episodes the series will have, but some conclusions can be drawn by reviewing the details of the first and comparing them to the others (we only list the price of the Blu-ray):
- package 1includes episodes 1 and 2 and costs 7,700 yen – June 29, 2022.
- package 2costs 7,700 yen – July 27, 2022.
- package 3costs 7,700 yen – August 31, 2022.
- package 4costs 7,700 yen – September 28, 2022.
- pack 5costs 7,700 yen – October 26, 2022.
- pack 6is fixed at 8,800 yen – November 23, 2022.
Packs 2 to 5 have the same price as the first, so it is inferred that they contain two episodes each. But why is the latter more expensive? It’s easiest to believe that it contains three episodes instead of two, but there’s also a possibility that it contains an OVA. So will it be thirteen episodes or twelve episodes and an OVA? Or does this additional content have nothing to do with animation? Not much more than theories can be done so far.

In addition to several spinoff manga, the work also inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation that premiered in January 2019, followed by a twelve-episode second season in April 2020.

Summary for Kaguya-sama: Love is War
At the prestigious Shuchiin Academy, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya are the main representatives of the student body. Considered the best student in the country, Miyuki is respected by her peers and mentors alike. She serves as the student council president.
