After the tremendous success of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which initially stayed at the box office for several weeks in a row, the public was ready for the return of the anime adaptation. However, e.g Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 it can take a long time.
The community was convinced to see Jujutsu Kaisen 2 at Anime Japan 2022. It was actually announced during the panel Return of the April 3 anime, but this has caused dissatisfaction with the network. In fact, it is not the second season of the anime adaptation that will be aired, but the reruns of the episodes of the first.
Through a promotional poster showing Yuji Itadori and Sukuna on the night they first met, the staff announced the re-airing of the first part of the anime on Japanese TV channels. The anime Japan 2022 has therefore deceived and disappointed the fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, who, however, may soon be relieved. This might just be a transitional phase to build hype around the series and refresh viewers’ memories. At the end of the broadcast of the first narrative arc, the first could actually stand Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 trailerwhich is expected to be released in 2023. It remains to be seen whether Studio MAPPA or Sunghoo Park’s newly founded studio E&H Productions will be responsible for the series.
