The ending of the Black Clover anime was a blow to the Yuki Tabata series lovers. While the manga continues with an uneven struggle to say the least, Studio Pierrot has yet to resume work on a second series. However, on the occasion of the last episode, the film Black Clover was announced with a key visual.
However, the leaked details of this project remained shrouded in mystery, even on the occasion of Jump Festa where not much was revealed. With the arrival of Black Clover’s seventh birthday Celebrated on Weekly Shonen Jump with color pages and cover, however, comes another piece of the puzzle.
It has been confirmed that to celebrate the series’ seventh anniversary, Black Clover will have:
- a character popularity poll, the results of which will be announced in the summer;
- a special promotional video;
- a compilation of the anime’s opening and ending;
- new video game information;
- free volumes in Japanese on Jump+ and the Zebraback app;
- Jump Cover style wallpapers published on the official account;
And finally it was time confirmed that the Black Clover movie will open in 2023 in Japanese cinemas. So it will be at least another year before we see Asta and Yuno in action again. The Black Clover manga, on the other hand, may have reached an important turning point.
Black Clover Movie is officially scheduled to premiere in 2023.
