The cosplay phenomenon started in Japan. The many fairs and meetings of disguise lovers in the Land of the Rising Sun were not enough: for several years Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru, known to us as My dressing favorite. The success convinced the publisher to make an anime out of it.
Now, week after week, My Dress-Up Darling plays the top positions with the big names in the industry like Attack on Titan 4 Part 2. Marin Kitagawa on the other hand seems to be too nice for everyone to captivate viewers of anime and beyond. It is now Marin-mania in Japan and beyond and because of this there are many cosplays about her. But love for the series doesn’t stop with its characters, it goes further and also includes the fictional characters of the series, like Shizuku-tan, the beloved protagonist of a series that Marin watches.
And when it’s Marin in the series who gets involved in one of his cosplays, it’s actually other cosplayers who prepare it Shizuku-tan Cosplay. This character has achieved many successes and for this reason a Chinese cosplayer has shared her almost perfect disguise on the Weibo portal.
