The complicated pandemic situation has forced numerous productions to cease working for long periods of time, which has led to countless postponements of films, anime and series over the past two years. That also said Shin Ultramanof which the new release date was communicated.
These months of absence and silence helped raise expectations for such a project. In fact, they are returning among the movie’s writers Shinji Higuchi and Hideaki Anno, or the direction and the script, which from a production point of view have already shown a certain affinity for the feature film Shin Godzilla, were enthusiastically received by the fans and well reviewed by the critics.
Initially expected in the course of 2021 Shin Ultraman’s release has been postponed to a later date. Fortunately, however, during a recent event where Tsuburaya Productions was illustrating future work in the pipeline, the short trailer that you can find on the news at the top of the game aired. A few pictures showing an attack by Ultraman reveal the new and hopefully final release date in Japanese cinemas, that is on May 13, 2022.
We remind you that Tsuburaya Productions will also produce a CG film of Ultraman and we leave with the announcement of The Trials of Ultraman, a comic series from Marvel Comics.
