Komi-san can’t communicate – Chapter 2: We’re Child Friends / I’m Not a Hit Man / First Message
As the first day to support Komi’s goal of making 100 friends, Tadano already has a plan up his sleeve that he can even imagine a success. However, his plans fail when he realizes his place in class and the fact that he has no friends himself. So he decides to take his last chance to speak to Osana Najimi, with whom he shared a class in high school.
Najimi is very communicative and is a childhood friend to everyone at school. The only exception, however, is with Komi. Well, when they met, no matter how much he talked to her, he could never have an answer about what shaped him and what caused trauma. So he refuses Tadano’s request to befriend Komi. But after Tadano’s insistence, he decides to give her another chance, so he accompanies her home. And after an incident, she agrees to be her friend.
The next day at lunchtime, Najimi looks for Komi to have lunch with her. But when she discovers Komi’s goal of making 100 friends, Najimi threatens to stop being her friend if she doesn’t buy her “Stave Skimmed Pistachio with Deep Mocha Cream Flapcino with Medium Chocolate Sauce with Lots of Cream” . At that moment, Komi buys it, walks into the shop and enters it without being able to ask for it. The barista in the black apron, however, without words, hands him a drink that has nothing to do with who Komi was. Nevertheless, Komi takes her to Najimi.

Everyone’s childhood friend
Osana Najimi is Komi-san’s closest friend. As you may have noticed, his name is directly linked to his role in the story. Something that is quite common with the characters in the series. Furthermore, his “secret” in the character’s gender is something that identifies. Because of this, there will be times when I will describe him as a woman or a man, trying to keep the secret that the same figure wants to show.
the seiyuu responsible for Rie Murakawawho worked on characters like: R.A.M. (“Re: zero“), Hotaru ichijou (“Not not biyori“), Natsuki Momohara (“A room“), Yui kurata (“Trinity seven“), Nyaa-tan (“Etotama“), among others. I have to admit that I think he did an excellent job because his voice is exactly as I wanted it to be. One that I just listened to without the screen to see, couldn’t identify the gender of the character or any other characters in the game. seiyuu this way.
In general, Osana Najimi’s character generates mixed feelings about her personality. Sometimes I like his personality, or rather, I identify with it. While there are others with whom I find something unbearable. In a way, he’s one of the characters I would get along with for the first few minutes of the conversation, until I unnecessarily stretch it.

What I like most about the character’s personality are his jokes. For example, the two she showed in Komi-san Can’t Communicate – Chapter 2, the first when she is ready to receive Tadano’s carnal desires and the other when she talks about the genius of the protagonist. To be honest, I’m sure I made the same or very similar jokes in school. Which reminded me of making strange voices when one of your friends is on the phone with a family member.
Like looking back at Tadano’s shameful past. He brings out his dark past to make fun of him. That alone could say that Najimi is a man. Just because it’s the kind of joke I’ve seen in my day, more happened between groups of male friends than between women.
By the way, regardless of whether Najimi herself has already said that she is a man, I will continue to mention her gender as a “secret” whenever possible. Still, I felt in danger when I saw Maa-kun’s testimony.
Komi-san cannot provide details – Chapter 2
I am absolutely grateful that the quality of the animation has not deteriorated. Not just the details in the characters and settings, but also in the fluid movement shown in the episode. It may not be exactly the same as that previous chapter, with a little moment when I think they could have improved it. But those are nonsensical little things that should be emphasized because they are pretty good. I feel like asking someone to get a 10 on the test when they get a 9.9.
Also, what I really like about the animation is that they add an extra scene. Like it was a short post-credits scene, and I think I remember something similar happened in the manga. It’s just one extra “side” in the manga episode.
Of course, I’ve seen a change or two in this anime adaptation, but it didn’t seem to me that it affects the story or the central plot. After all, these moments could easily have been skipped and still wouldn’t be a problem.

Speaking of musicalization. His contribution surprises me more and more. Mainly because this time I thought I heard a noise binaural in more than one scene. Something that I personally enjoy, regardless of the production. As a good addict ASMR that I have become. I also admit that the more I listen to the opening, the more I like it.
The end “Hikare Inochi (γ γ« γ¬ γ€ γ γ)” from Kitri It’s not bad, but I just think the opening is way above that for me. In fact, I liked the previous ending of Komi-san cannot communicate. Of course, I have a feeling that the ending animation will change as the anime and the plot progresses. Komi, Tadano and Najimi are currently appearing in a final scene. I think the more friends Komi-san has, the more characters will appear in this scene. Something I would love to see. I’ve always been a fan of these details of changes in the beginning and the end so that they don’t stay monotonous and are left out.
