Two of the factors that contributed to the success of the series Demon Hunter they are the place and the historical moment in which the characters act, that is, the Japan of the Taisho period, with the addition of demons and supernatural creatures. However, one enthusiast imagined what Nezuko would look like in a cyberpunk setting to create a great cosplay.
That Taisho period refers to a liberal era that lasted from 1912 to 1926, and while little politically or administratively emerges from Gotoge’s work, the setting, clothing, and trade were well represented in the series. The atmosphere recreated by Tanjiro and his companions during the adventure is very different than Science fiction, confusion, and humiliation that characterize the cyberpunk genre, born from the pens of William Gibson and Bruce Sterling.
The passionate Katie Simrell has therefore decided to take Nezuko Kamado into the cyberpunk universe by using a fanart published on social media as her first model. To several months of work to find the right parts and materialsthe fan said she was happy with the end result which you can see in the post at the bottom of the page. True to the above illustration, the cosplay appears fuller guided and cybernetic extensions in perfect accordance with what we’ve seen in, for example, Alita, Ghost in the Shell, and the latest discussed video game from CD Project RED.
We remind you that Bandai presented a replica of Zenitsu’s katana and leave the new UNIQLO t-shirts dedicated to the series.
