Marvel Comics wanted to bring innovation to the universe of Captain America Introducing five new characters, each from a different culture. These are five alternative versions of Cap, combined for the first time in one great cover, signed by the Filipino artist Leinil Francis Yu.
Aaron Fischer, Nichelle Wright, Joe Gomez, Arielle Agbayani and Jeremy Merrick were brought together in the illustration you can see at the end of the news, selected as official cover of the fifth volume in the series. This initiative is unique in the vast Marvel Comics universe. The House of Ideas does not have any never published a book with five different Captain America shown on the cover.
All those who have played the role of Captain America in the past, namely Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, John Walker and Bucky Barnes, got to meet the new members of the so-called Captains Networkto directly evaluate their skills. The fifth volume in the series, written by Christopher Cantwell and drawn by Dale Eaglesham, is available now from October 20, 2021.
