Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7: I want to hang out in a cat cafe and bar!
A sudden call from Sakurai makes Uzaki nervous about the words used. However, when Uzaki meets him and learns the truth, he is upset. Sakurai had called him to go into a cafe where he could have contact with cats, but he was embarrassed to enter alone. Once inside, Sakurai kept a happy expression the whole time, although after a while her legs went numb, which Uzaki took advantage of. But both were removed from the scene because of their strange “game”.
In return for his help, Sakurai agrees to do anything for Uzaki. Those who quickly decide to take advantage of the fact that their birthday is approaching have high expectations for Sakurai. When the day comes, Uzaki invites in the same way that Sakurai did back then. I called him to go to a bar together and join her first drinking when she was old enough to do so.
Uzaki ends up taking too much. Since it is getting late and there is no money left, Sakurai agrees that she will spend the night in her apartment. But Uzaki drinks for a while and sleeps a long time. On awakening he knows the horrors of surpassing oneself.
Cold attitude and sweet things
As was already evident from previous episodesSakurai is one of those characters with an intimidating appearance but with a cute center. Something that more than showed Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7 with his acting in front of so many cats. Something that I largely share. As the owner of two cats, I can’t help but let them lie on top of me, even though my whole body has already gone numb. In addition to that feeling of “loneliness”, when you are feeling like another person, you take them away from you so you can start doing something productive.
Not to the point where I get the same phrase as Sakurai, of course. One that, like Uzaki, I found creepy and even a little disgusting. Though I can do it and I didn’t realize it.
Put aside his love for cats, but carry on at its sweet core. Sakurai thought very seriously about a present for Uzaki. And I don’t blame him, in the same situation I would have had a hard time making up my mind. After all, they’ve only shown a few details that Uzaki likes, and giving him a “strange” gift could, in turn, trigger an age of teasing on his part. Mind you, I think the ring was a little too much. If it was an accessory the first thing you would think of would be a pendant / necklace or something.
Although the result could be what Ami and her father had in mind. I couldn’t even see him know because of the pressures of the moment. What if you don’t like it?
Horror of alcohol
Out of the controversy that Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7 can create by showing Uzaki drunk. The truth is, I personally liked the story of this episode. As in some ways I feel that it showed very well some details about someone new to drinking alcohol. For example, believing that you are resilient and that you are exceeding your limit so much that you end up having or not remembering as pleasant memories.
To be honest, I am not a alcohol lover or proponent of the idea that certain foods are only enjoyed with an alcoholic drink. Still, and that I haven’t had much alcohol since I was able to, people close to me have told me that I’m like a heavyweight in this regard. But even if it were, I wouldn’t be looking for my limit. As this was something that I developed growing up seeing other people.
Given that excess is never good, there will also be times when it can be frowned upon or even disrespectful to stop drinking. It all depends on the circumstances. So there is one point that I really liked Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7, Sakurai accompanies Uzaki during his first drink. Showing a responsible facet, although there could be the possibility that he liked to drink and wanted to. He always kept up to date with Uzaki and gave him the freedom to experience the good and the bad.
Even if I have little or no experience with drinking, I think this is one of the best things to consider when first drinking. When you do it with one or more people who you trust very much and who have a reliable company.
I am not saying that it is okay to drink, just as I am not saying that it is wrong to do so. Everyone has their own criteria. I’m just saying that you always have to be responsible. And I think the same thought got through to me Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7. Finally, they mentioned a sentence that simply makes me the best possible summary of the situation: “Is it fun to drink? That depends on the drinker and the circumstances. There is no guarantee“.
Comedy in Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7
This episode made me laugh about different things most of the time. From her facial expressions (like Uzaki’s change of mood when she learns the truth behind her deceptive invitation Senpai) to the phrases and actions some of the characters did.
If I had to choose the moment that I liked the most Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 7 would definitely be if Uzaki compared the feeling after a cat’s coffee with that of a married man who goes to a cabaret club. At that moment I had to laugh out loud for a while, until the tears of laughter were accompanied by a stomach ache.
If I just remember that scene, I’ll laugh again. So far, I think this has been the moment when I’ve laughed the most with everything that’s released Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!.
There was another moment that I liked, although it didn’t make me laugh in the same dimensions as the one I mentioned earlier. I have a feeling that for future use it will stick, “Your wallet is dead.”
Incidentally, was I the only one who had a hint on ‘Batman versus Superman‘During the episode? More precisely, when Uzaki takes advantage of Sakurai’s stiff legs.
Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai preview! – Chapter 8
As usual, the preview for the next chapter is in the official channel from Kadokawa in the Youtube. Which will be available for a limited time.
In this you will see Sakurai and Uzaki next to the typical festival to see fireworks. Also state that Uzaki wears a yukata. And it seems they will also feature some flashbacks of the two of them when they were in high school. Maybe when they met or when they got “close” without realizing it.
From the start I have to admit that I really liked the way Uzaki looked with the yukata and this hairstyle. I feel like for that moment there was no longer a perfect match. In addition, the animation seems to promise a lot as it draws the viewer into the events of the chapter.
