It was reported that the eleventh compilation volume of the manga written and illustrated by Shoutarou Tokunou, New Game!, will be published in Japan on August 27.

Tokunou publishes the manga in the magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat from the publisher Houbunsha since January 2013. The publisher published the tenth compilation volume on January 27. The manga inspired an adaptation to a video game released in Japan in January 2017 and developed by 5pb for consoles Playstation 4 and Play Station Vita.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Doga Kobo, under the direction of Yoshiyuki Fujiwara and scripts written by Fumihiko Shimo, and released in July 2016. A second season that featured the same production team premiered in July 2017.
