Good news for manga fans! Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) is set to make a comeback this month with the release of chapter 94, as announced by the author, Take, on his official Twitter account. The chapter will be available on May 19th through Kadokawa’s DraDra Sharp service in Japan.
The manga series, which began in December 2017 and is published by Fujimi Shobo, follows the story of Hana Uzaki, a first-year university student who tries to keep her senior, Shinichi Sakurai, from being lonely by convincing him to hang out with her. This leads to many humorous situations, and despite sometimes finding Uzaki irritating, Sakurai eventually warms up to her.
The manga has already inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by ENGI, which premiered in July 2020, and a second season that premiered in October 2022.
For fans who may have missed out on the latest chapter, the previous one was released on January 27th in Japan, and the author explained that he needed to take a break due to exhaustion. But now, fans can look forward to the continuation of the story and more entertaining moments between the two characters.
«I really wanted to finish the next chapter 94 as soon as possible so that you could read it, but I have reached exhaustion before. I’ve been trying to fool myself but it’s gotten a bit overwhelming and various places on my body have been breaking since last year, so I’m going to do a complete physical and mental maintenance once I finish working on the 10th volume.. Let’s aim together for chapter 100».

At the beginning of her first year in college, Hana Uzaki meets Shinichi Sakurai, a senior who was in the same club as her during their high school days. However, to her surprise, the once active senior has ended up becoming a “loner” student, preferring to spend his free time in peace and quiet. Uzaki does everything she can to keep Sakurai from being “alone,” from convincing him to go to the movies to his part-time workplace.
