The editor of the manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Avenger, confirmed on Twitter that the franchise has 20 million copies in circulation. This is a huge step forward as it wasn't until March 31st that the 10 million copies were reported in circulation.

Wakui started to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha in March 2017. The publisher published the twenty-first anthology in February 2021, followed by the twenty-second in April 2021 in Japan. An anime adaptation produced by the studios EYE FILMS, Headed by Koichi Hatsumi and scripts written by Yasuyuki muto, is currently broadcasting in Japan.
