""Hello, this is SIU. The Tower of God Webtoon was originally scheduled to resume in November. While I was working on the manuscripts, the pain in my right arm returned and I had to go to the hospital for an exam. At this point the results were not severe so it was only decided to postpone the restart for a few weeks. However, the pain got worse, so I went to a more specialized hospital for a check-up.
The tests lasted for a few weeks and revealed some abnormalities. My diagnosis shows that if I don't treat myself properly, I could carry pain and discomfort in my arm for life, which would prevent me from doing my activities not only at work but in my daily life as well. To avoid this, the medical certificate stated that he should rest for six months. Professionals believe this could prevent further deformation and return to normal work during this period of inactivity.
When I was told that I had to take a six-month break, I had many concerns. That was because I already have the ten-chapter manuscript of the webtoon and both the readers and the studio had to wait for them. The feeling of having to rest longer makes it harder for me to endure and accept it. So I tried to slow down my work pace these days but the pain was there. As a person who has to take care of his body, I understand my mistake, but my side as a writer doesn't understand it. After thinking about it for a few weeks, I finally agreed to extend the suspension.
