Written and illustrated by in the eleventh compilation volume of the manga Rie Aruga, Perfect world, released August 12th, has announced that the next compiled volume will be the last in the series.
Aruga had already revealed in April 2019 that his manga was very close to his final argument. Aruga started publishing the manga in the magazine kiss from the publisher Kodansha in March 2014. The publisher published the ninth compiled volume in March 2019 and the tenth in November of the same year.
The play inspired a live-action film that was released in Japanese theaters in October 2018. The film grossed 17.38 million yen (approximately $ 153,000) and took fourth place on the opening weekend. A live-action series was produced in April 2019.
