In this year's ninth edition of the magazine Bessatsu Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha The manga has been announced to be written and illustrated by Yuuki Satou, Tomodachi gamehas entered his latest story arc.
Sato started publishing the manga in Kodansha Publishing's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in December 2013. The manga was interrupted last December, returned for a chapter in February, and was interrupted again. The publisher released the 16th compiled volume on August 7th in Japan.
The piece inspired two live-action films, the first entitled Tomodachi game Gekijouban released in June 2017, following a live-action series that aired in April 2017. The second film opened in Japan in September 2017.
Tomodachi Game Synopsis
The story centers around Yuuichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends with a difficult life. His peaceful life ends when a total of two million yen is lost, which was a school group saving for the annual trip. The riddle begins to unfold when Yuuichi is involved in a mysterious game of money and has to choose between the value of friendship or the value of money.
