Synopsis of Kakuregami

The exciting story revolves around a group of five friends. When you visit your local shrine for a summer festival, you will see a “knot” that acts as a divine vessel for the shrine. One of the children, Tsukasa, sees a crack on the surface of the knot and tries to open it. When Tsukasa’s friend Hiro tries to stop him, he thinks he sees something in the fissure that looks exactly like him. When the five friends leave the sanctuary, they find that they can no longer be seen or noticed by anyone.
