Shueisha would have prevented Kimetsu no Yaiba from breaking a One Piece record

In a popular Japanese commentary forum, a theory called “The reason Kimetsu no Yaiba didn’t print more than 4 million copies in the first edition of his latest volume“Where users discussed the recently announced first pass of the final volume of the manga from Koyoharu Gotouge, Kimetsu no yaiba. This first edition was set at 3.95 million copies so that the work could not exceed 4.05 million copies of the sixty-seventh compilation volume of the manga of Eiichiro Oda, One piece.

The users emphasized that the publisher had already planned a reprint of the twenty-third volume of the manga for next December 10th, just seven days after the first publication.
