In the band of the twenty-seventh compilation volume of the manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia, it was reported that the work has exceeded 27 million copies in circulation.
Horikoshi started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in July 2014. The publisher published the twenty-sixth compilation volume on March 4 and will publish the twenty-seventh on July 3.
The four seasons of the anime adaptation of the manga have been produced by the studios. Bones, and released in April 2016, April 2017, April 2018 and October 2019, respectively; accumulating as a whole a total of 88 episodes. A fifth season is confirmed since April of this year, but no new details have been revealed about it.
Synopsis of My Hero Academia
In a world where most people possess a super power, Izuku Midoriya dreams of becoming a hero despite being constantly harassed by his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou for not possessing power yet. Powered by his idol All Might, Midoriya does not give up on his dream despite being revealed to him that he will, in fact, not develop any power.
However, his destiny is linked to that of his idol hero All Might, who will let him know that everyone can become heroes.
