On the official page for the spin-off manga series written and illustrated by Shouko Iwami, Mushoku Tensei: Roxy datte Honki desuthe cover of the sixth compiled volume was revealed. The volume will go on sale in Japan on August 21.

Iwami started posting the manga on the website ComicWalker from the publisher Kadokawa The publisher published the fifth compiled volume on March 23.

On the other hand, this spin-off manga is inspired by the light novels written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by SiroTaka, Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu. Rifujin na Magonote started publishing the novels on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou Completed in November 2012 and April 2015. Then the publisher Media factory started publishing on paper with illustrations by SiroTaka in January 2014. The publisher released the twenty-second volume in July 2019.

The piece inspired an anime adaptation slated for release in 2021 and produced by Tie studio, Headed by Manabu Okamoto.
