In this year's ninth edition of the magazine Gundam Ass from the publisher Kadokawa it was revealed that the manga was written by I taichi and illustrated by Tomohiro Chiba, Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destinyis approaching "his last battle".
Taichi and Chiba started publishing the manga in Kadokawa's Gundam Ace magazine in September 2015. The publisher published the eighth volume on February 25.
This work is a remake of the manga, written by and illustrated by Mizuho Takayama and published in 1996 as a side story of the franchise Gundam mobile suitwho told the events of the games Blue fate released for the console Sega Saturn in Japan between 1996 and 1997.
Synopsis of the side story of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Blue Destiny
Yuu Kajima is a soldier of the Earth Federation Forces during the "One Year War" and tests new technologies before mass production. During the routine battle, he and his companions are attacked by a mysterious blue suit that fights like a monster. The group almost died but managed to escape.
Upon returning to his base, Yuu will be piloted by the same unit, the "Blue Fate". While using his new machine and fighting the "Nimbus treasure", Yuu discovers that there are many more secrets behind the "Blue Fate" than he thought.
