The editorial Panini Manga Mexico reported on his official Twitter account that he licensed the manga written and illustrated by Iro Aida, Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun ((Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun) for publication in Mexico. The statement states that the monthly release is expected to start in April this year. The volumes have dimensions of 13 × 18 cm and a unit price of 129.00 Mexican pesos after the price increase previously announced by the publisher.

Aida started publishing the manga through the magazine Monthly G-Fantasy from the publisher Square enix in June 2014. The publisher published the 13th compiled volume in May 2020, followed by the 14th in November 2020 in Japan.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. lark, Headed by Masaomi Andou and scripts from Yasuhiro Nakanishi, published in January 2020 and with Funimation responsible for distribution rights. No second season has been announced yet.
