Gabriel DropOut Synopsis

For centuries heaven has required its young angels to live and study among people in order to become true angels. This is no different for Gabriel White Tenma, the top of her class who believes that her mission is to be a great angel who will bring happiness to humanity. However, Gabriel becomes addicted to video games on earth and eventually becomes a hikkikomori. She proclaims herself a “fallen angel” and is apathetic towards others, much to the chagrin of April Tsukinose, a demon who became her first friend.

Vignette’s attempts to restore Gabriel to his old self are in vain as she refuses any attempt to change her comfortable lifestyle. As the days go by, they meet two girls with eccentric personalities: the angel Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha with a penchant for sadism and the demon Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa, a very clumsy demon and self-appointed ruler of the underworld.
