A rumor on internet networks in Japan claims that the publication of the manga written and illustrated by Norio Tsukudani, Futaba-san Chi no Kyoudai, will resume very soon in the magazine Young Animal from the publisher Hakusensha, after a break of almost two years.
Tsukudani began publishing the manga in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine in March 2017. The publisher published the fourth compilation volume in November 2018. Tsukudani is also the author of the manga. Himegoto, which was published in different magazines between November 2011 and June 2015, with a total of six published compilation volumes.
The work inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Asahi Production, under the direction of Yuuji Yanase and scripts written by Kazuho Hyoudou, released in July 2014.
