The editorial Kadokawa reported that the manga adaptation of light novels by Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki, Eromanga Sensei, responsible for Rin, ends in the next issue of the magazine Monthly comic Dengeki Daioh, scheduled for May 27 in Japan. It should be noted that the original novels are still being published.

Fushimi and Kanzaki publish the light novels through the publisher’s label Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa since December 2013, and they have published twelve volumes to date, with the twelfth being published in Japan in November 2019. Adaptation to manga by Rin is published by the magazine Monthly comic Dengeki Daioh since May 2014.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode animated adaptation produced by the studios. A-1 pictures, Headed by Ryohei Takeshita and scripts written by Tatsuya Takahashi, released April 2017. A two-episode OVA was released in January 2019.

Eromanga Sensei Synopsis

A year ago, Sagiri Izumi Masamune became Izumi’s stepsister. But her parents’ sudden death tore their new family apart and caused Sagiri to stay away from her brother and her company. While Masamune worries about what’s left of his family, he begins to make a living as a light novelist with a small problem: in reality, he never has his illustrator, the well-known Eromanga sensei, who is famous for his illustrations seen or met highly erotic.

After a shameful chain of events, Masamune learns that his own sister has been his illustrator all along! As new characters and challenges enter their lives, Masamune and Sagiri must work together to face the monster that represents the light novel industry. Eromanga-sensei will follow the development of their relationship and their struggle for success.
