By now everyone knows their way around Marin Kitagawa from My Dress Up Darling, the anime that’s depopulating the web by harnessing the overwhelming power of titles like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer. The romantic comedy about the world of cosplay continues to spark new characters from the video games and manga Marin loved.
the The first fictional character to appear in My Dress-Up Darling was Shizuku-tan, protagonist of a popular erogenous video game that Marin Kitagawa is crazy about. It was precisely this desire to play this girl with a Victorian-style dress that brought the two protagonists together. In the end it took Gojo a few episodes to give Marin the dress he wanted. Now Marin has moved on with different clothes, but in the My Dress-Up Darling fandom, the impression of the Shizuku-tan cosplay shown in the first few episodes still lives on.
Thematic content is depopulating the web, and Japanese cosplayer Arisa1010 is one of those showcasing one Shizuku-tan cosplay as in anime. The two photos below show the enormous care taken in this work to reproduce the character’s clothing, an excellent result that was not easy to achieve.
