On the official Twitter account for the original anime Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aruwas announced to title the production of a third season Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aru: Dai Mankai no Shou.
The statement didn't reveal a release date, but it did include an advertising image for this third season.
The original series was created by Takahiro, produced by Studio Gokumi and directed by Seiji Kishi, as part of a multimedia project called "Takahiro IV Project". The series was broadcast in Japan in October 2014 with a total of twelve episodes. This project has inspired several adaptations to light novels and manga, as well as a video game for Play station vita published in Japan in February 2015 and a visual novel for Windows started in December 2014.
A second season that consisted of the adaptation of a prequel light novel and a sequel that aired between March 2017 and January 2018.

Synopsis of Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru
Yuuna Yuuki is a heroine in her daily life. As evidence, she's a member of her high school's Hero Club, where she does her best to bring a smile to everyone around her. But Yuuna, who is always ready to take on any task, is about to take another step in her career as a heroine.
Mysterious destructive powers called "vertexes" threaten the people he loves, and the Hero Club is accessed through a mysterious app to save them. Accompanied by her best friend Mimori Tougou, sisters Fuu and Itsuki Inubouzaki, they have to transform themselves into magical girls to fight.
