Via the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, Yakusoku no never land (also known as The promised Neverland) a new promo video was released for the second season of the show.

The premiere of this second season is scheduled for January 8, 2021 in Japan (January 7 for other regions). In turn, Shirai and Demizu began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in August 2016 and finalized in June 2020. The publisher published the twentieth and final compilation volume on October 20.
