The heartbreaking and dramatic tale of To your eternity has conquered the community, which will soon face a new wave of pain in the anime’s second season. But when is the adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima’s hit manga coming back?
With the huge success of the first installment being streamable on Crunchyroll, it was only a matter of time before the anime returned. L’epic journey of the immortal Fushi will continue with To Your Eternity 2 from October 23, 2022.
In the first 20 episodes of the Brain Base-produced anime, viewers got to know Fushi, a mystical being who takes on the form of first a stone, then a snow wolf, and then back to the boy who tamed him. After numerous acquaintances, which have shaped him both in character and in spirit, and new forms, Fushi is determined face the threat of the Nokkers. However, the numerous deaths of his affection broke his heart.
In the trailer for To Your Eternity 2 we see a Fushi returned to his origins as a loner. More cynical than ever, he intends to avoid relationships lest he suffer further excruciating pain. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to hide from the Nokkers much longer.
The first episodes adapted 6 of the 18 volumes available so far. there Season 2 of the anime To Your Eternity will adapt the Guardians Arc, which corresponds to chapters 55 to 62 of the manga. This time, Fushi’s journey begins again in the name of Studio Drive, replacing Brain’s Base. Kyoko Sama will continue Masahiko Murata’s legacy as the show’s director.
