The imagination of the fans is limitless and very often they manage to pull real strokes of genius out of their hat. Many of them are about anime and manga crossovers, even between characters from very different products. This is what has happened to the protagonists of in the past few months Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the monsters of Pokémon.

The designer Jimmyxsparrow has decided to unite the protagonists of the demonic world – Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke and many other of their companions – with the pocket creatures that have accompanied us for decades with manga, anime and video games. The crossover between Demon Slayer and Pokémon starts with a Tanjiro Kamado becomes a squirtle.

The protagonist of Koyoharu Gotouge’s work thus becomes the blue turtle who can use the breath of the water by calling a gyaridos. Jimmyxsparrow’s fantasy also touches Zenitsu, who becomes a Pikachu, Nezuko, who becomes a misdreavous, Inosuke, who becomes a very wild primeape.

Based on the protagonists, we also see three of the most famous pillars of the demon slayer Kocho Shinobu, Giyu Tomioka and Rengoku Kyojuro: The first joined a butterfly, the second a Wartortole and the third a Charmander. A really successful crossover, and with the arrival of the second season of Demon Slayer, Jimmyxsparrow will surely be able to expand that collection even further by taking advantage of the next few characters introduced in the anime.
