Two years after the release of the first chapter of the manga series, Undead Unluck has officially received an anime adaptation. Through a promotional film and a high definition poster, it was revealed that the Anime series will debut in the new year.
In the 39th issue of the magazine year Shueisha’s weekly shonen jump It has been confirmed that the Undead Unluck adaptation will debut in 2023. The release window announcement was accompanied by the release of a soon after first teaser trailer. This shows some scenes from the manga in an animated version.
To deal with the Undead Unluck anime is David Productions, the renowned animation studio behind the various series of The Bizarre Adventures of JoJo, while the production has been entrusted Unlimited production of TMS.
Tozuka’s work debuted as a one-shot on + Weekly Shonen Jump in 2019. Excellent audience response led to the release of a manga series in 2020, and now one animated adaptation.
The story of Undead Unluck follows the adventures of Fuuko, a girl searching for a love story as passionate as her favorite shojo manga. However, this dream of hers is denied by her inherent bad luck. Just as the girl hits rock bottom and is about to commit suicide, she meets Andy, a cursed being there’s no way he can die, it changes forever. Using Fuuko’s ability, Andy attempts to unleash an unlucky blow large enough to kill him. This death plan is put on hold when the two discover that a secret organization is after them.
