A leak from China through the Weibo social network confirmed the production of a second season of the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Kenjirou hata, Tonikaku kawaii (Fly me to the moon). The leak that comes from the next issue of the magazine Weekly Shonen SundayIt did not disclose the production details or the release date, but confirmed that the "Important announcement“The promotional video for this second season will appear on November 6th.

Hata started publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan in February 2018. The publisher published the 16th anthology in July 2021, followed by the 17th on August 18th in Japan. The literary franchise already has more than 3.7 million accumulated copies in circulation.

The piece inspired a twelve-part anime adaptation produced by the studios. Seven arches, Headed by Hiroshi ikehata and scripts written by Kazuho hyodo, published in October 2020.
